About
Lisette Rees-Peel writes love stories about people who are very good at one difficult thing and very bad at saying what they want.
Most of her books share one world, British rowing: The Pair, Handover and Written Down, each following one couple across three books, and Careful Who You Park Next To, an M/F romantic suspense set beside them. Stay-at-Home leaves the river for the ice: an M/M hockey romance.
She writes slow-burn, high-heat romance, most of it M/M, about rivals who become something else, people who would rather race than talk, and the long, unglamorous work of staying.
She is not a rower. She has, however, been awake at five in the morning on a cold river, and has never entirely recovered.
Her portrait is an illustration.
